Your Health Mate
We called the team One and Zero, on purpose. A computer only understands two digits, so we gave ours a name in its own language.
Two of us
This time the team was just two people: Smita Chauhan and me, leading. We both wrote the Flutter app, and I designed it.
The event was the AI/ML Healthcare Hackathon, run by myOnsite Healthcare at Parul University and supported by MedinovAI and JBT Hospitality.
An open problem
We didn't take one of the set problems. We picked the open category and chose our own.
Patients wait too long for simple medical advice, and booking a doctor is harder than it should be. Small problems go unnoticed until they turn serious, and clinics fill up with cases that could have been caught earlier.
Your Health Mate puts the first steps in one app: ask about a symptom, find a doctor nearby, book them, and get reminded.
Our first AI
This was the first time I put AI into an app. We used Google Gemini1 and gave the assistant a name, Bujji AI.
Rooms that remember
Every conversation gets its own chat room, and the assistant remembers what was said earlier in it. Ask about a fever and it lists the symptoms. Ask something from ten messages ago and it still knows.

Your ConversationsCreate unlimited chat roomsA doctor nearby
You search by service: cardiologists, dentists, dermatologists. Every doctor shows whether they're verified and available, and how far away they are and how long it takes to get there, from the Google Maps API.
Book a slot, and the request lands on the doctor's side, where they can accept it, keep it pending or reject it. Doctors join through a verification form, with their documents and a live photo, before they show as verified.
Built in Flutter
Flutter for the app, Firebase2 behind it, Gemini for the AI, the Google Maps API for distances, and GetX3 to manage state.

The longest announcement
Then came the results. The hosts took their time, and nobody knew whose name was coming next. Watch it for yourself.
First rank.
Thanks to Shaleen Shukla sir, our mentor, to Prashant Sahatiya sir for his help with Flutter, to Parul University, and to myOnsite Healthcare for the platform.
Two people, two digits, and our first AI.
