Vadodara Hackathon 4.0

After we lost in Pune, we changed what we prepared. This time we learned how the product would work and the legal side, not only the tech.

What we prepared for each hackathon. A sketch, not a measurement.

There wasn't much time, so we couldn't prepare the tech the way I wanted. We took part anyway.

I was worried

Six of us

The team was Smita Chauhan, Richa Patel, Riya, Harsh Surani, Laxit Khanpara and me.

Our team on stage with the organisers at Parul University, holding our certificates. Krushang is second from the right, in a black T-shirt with a lanyard.
With our certificates, after the results.

Guruzone

Our idea was Guruzone: one-to-one tutoring, online. We built it in Flutter with Firebase.1

First

Krushang's certificate of achievement from PIERC, Parul University, naming him a winner of the Vadodara Hackathon 4.0 on 15 and 16 September 2023.

We won. The Vadodara Hackathon 4.0 was run by PIERC,2 at Parul University, on 15 and 16 September 2023.

What it taught me

This was the hackathon that taught me more about leadership, and about thinking from a different angle. The jury was very supportive, and that pushed my thinking in a new direction.

Thanks to Prashant Sahatiya sir for his guidance, to Jay Sudani, Hutesh Baviskar and everyone at PIERC for their support, and to Parul University for the platform.

We prepared the least tech, and we won.
